Dusted off the old Polar S725, threw in a new battery to replace the dead one(haven't used since 2007). Of course I am an authorized Polar guy..wink, wink. Anyway, the screen barely shows up, if I click on buttons you can hear it working. So got another new battery from a different store thinking maybe the last 'new' one was a dud, but no. The screen still is not readable. Anyone know how much it would cost to replace the screen (LCD)? I have a lot of 'extras' e.g. multiple speed and cadence sensors (some new) so I'd like to salvage the unit, however don't want to spend crazy money on it either. Thoughts?

DEAR FRIENDS
I purchased the rs800 about 9 months ago, It was fine till about a week ago when part of the display for both the custom LCD block at the top as well as the standard LCD seem to have bad 'crystals' a line of pixels on the custom block doesn't display anything and the bottom standard block has missing pixels that make up the digits.

I have this problem for past one month. Some time it shows display. I check and installed new connectors and check the display card, everything is fine. So please advise me on this, so that it will help me a lot.
Thanks.
