uphill, both ways
Sun Sep 18, 2005 9:46 am

Been working my fool head off on the North American Handmade Bicycle Show ( handmadebicycleshow.com ) and slowly getting back into the shop working on frames.
I was interviewed by Scott Cutshall for his blog, a cool piece on framebuilders he feels have the skills to be "masters". link here
( http://istanbultea.typepad.com/largefellaonabike/ )

I have been ultra busy with all the preperation for Interbike ( no link this time...) because I am making a presentation to attract more builders to the show and dont know what the hell i am doing. Sure, I can make a good bike, but i know zero about computers.

The good news is we have a list of builder set up for this show 2nd to none. I am pretty damn sure that Interbike has never had this many independent builders in the same place at the same time. Its taken huge amount of time to devote to this, but it will pay off for those who come because the variety of frames and builders is so vast.

Anyhow, I feel like i am riding uphilll, both ways because I am so tired.

more soon.

houseguests....oh joy
Mon Aug 08, 2005 12:15 pm

well, I had a visitor yesterday...he came to my house, ate my food and left with 3 of my dvd's. I wont say who it is, but he was bitching about not having but 1 movie to watch on his way to Nats. Fact is he borrowed 3...he must have lost 2 of them already like the last 3 he "borrowed".
Dont get me wrong, he has "every intention of returning them", but it seems that one of my dvds was left behind in Utah from road Nats and the other 2 are "somwhere at his house"....hmmm, will i ever see them again?

I really just feel like giving this un-named person a ration, because I do hold some compromising photos of him on my puter that i KNOW he doesnt want to get out into the public. Just a little fun amongst friends, ya know?
on another note, I want to wish all my friends the BEST of Luck at nats! ( especially those riding my bikes...)

ok, so i created a blog, spent an hour trying to type my thoughts about the slacker/messenger/hipster phenonmenon of them wanting to ride track bikes and when i go to upload a pic, an error occurs and then....i lost all my text! dammit!, this is twice now....

i will make this short and sweet...
USAC needs to recruit more juniors.
We need more than 1 indoor velodrome in the US
Lakatosh needs a year to cool off and at least 2 years of anger managment.

rock on!
