slapshot's blog
uphill, both ways
Sun Sep 18, 2005 9:46 am

Been working my fool head off on the North American Handmade Bicycle Show ( handmadebicycleshow.com ) and slowly getting back into the shop working on frames.
I was interviewed by Scott Cutshall for his blog, a cool piece on framebuilders he feels have the skills to be "masters". link here
( http://istanbultea.typepad.com/largefellaonabike/ )

I have been ultra busy with all the preperation for Interbike ( no link this time...) because I am making a presentation to attract more builders to the show and dont know what the hell i am doing. Sure, I can make a good bike, but i know zero about computers.

The good news is we have a list of builder set up for this show 2nd to none. I am pretty damn sure that Interbike has never had this many independent builders in the same place at the same time. Its taken huge amount of time to devote to this, but it will pay off for those who come because the variety of frames and builders is so vast.

Anyhow, I feel like i am riding uphilll, both ways because I am so tired.

more soon.
